bitsLearn is a K–12 educational video learning platform operated in India. We provide students with access to curriculum-aligned video lessons, practice content, and progress tracking. References to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to the bitsLearn team.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use bitsLearn:
- Account Information: Name, email address, class/grade, and password when you register.
- Usage Data: Videos watched, lessons completed, quiz scores, and time spent on the app.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for technical support.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Aadhaar numbers, financial records, or biometric data.

4. Children's Privacy

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the bitsLearn mobile application and related services ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.
2. Eligibility
bitsLearn is intended for students from Class 1 to Class 12. Users under the age of 13 must have verifiable parental consent to use the app. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- One person may not maintain more than one active account.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use bitsLearn only for lawful, educational purposes. You agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, or reproduce any content from the platform without permission
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Upload or transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Use the platform for commercial purposes

All content on bitsLearn — including videos, illustrations, questions, and text — is owned by bitsLearn or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view content solely for personal, educational use.

bitsLearn provides educational content for supplementary learning and does not guarantee specific academic results or exam scores. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bitsLearn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
